Teaching Faculty Work Days Sample Clauses

The "Teaching Faculty Work Days" clause defines the specific days during which teaching faculty are required to be present and perform their professional duties. Typically, this clause outlines the academic calendar, including start and end dates for the school year, as well as any designated holidays or breaks when faculty are not expected to work. By clearly specifying these work days, the clause ensures both faculty and administration have a mutual understanding of work expectations, thereby preventing misunderstandings and supporting effective planning.

No teaching Faculty Member shall be scheduled, without his/her consent, to teach on Saturday or Sunday. Recognizing the desirability of making courses available to students on weekends on an experimental basis, the Employer may seek volunteers from among the teaching faculty to perform such weekend instruction.
