Teaching Assignment and Transfer. While the authority to assign or reassign teachers is, by law, vested in the Superintendent, it is recognized that a given assignment may be voluntary or involuntary in nature. A teacher who is reassigned will, upon request, have the opportunity for a conference with the Superintendent. Should the teacher request to be released from his/her contract, that request will be honored.
