Teachers currently paid on the Pre-August 1, 1986 Salary schedules shall continue step and column advancement on the Early Education Department salary schedule for teachers hired on or after August 1, 1986, according to years of experience and education. However, they will continue to be paid at the rate in effect as of June 30, 2003, until such time as the salary of the step and column on which they were placed rises to an amount higher than their salary as of June 30, 2003. Effective July 1, 2006, the bargaining unit members who remain frozen based on this paragraph shall no longer be frozen in accordance with a Side Letter, dated April 18, 2006, attached to the parties 2004-2007 Tentative Agreement.

However, they will continue to be paid at the rate in effect as of June 30, 2003, until such time as the salary of the step and column on which they were placed rises to an amount higher than their salary as of June 30, 2003. Effective July 1, 2006, the bargaining unit members who remain frozen based on this paragraph shall no longer be frozen in accordance with a Side Letter, dated April 18, 2006, attached to the parties 2004-2007 Tentative Agreement.
Teachers currently teaching in a primary position at the elementary level will have priority assignment to teach a primary summer academic position provide they meet the credentials established herein.
Teachers currently teaching in an intermediate position at the elementary level will have priority assignment to teach an intermediate summer academic position provided they meet the credentials established herein.

  • Electric Current 12. Rates and conditions in respect to submetering or rent inclusion, as the case may be, to be added in RIDER attached hereto.
