Teacher Day. A. The maximum length of a bargaining unit member's contractual day is a consecutive seven (7) hours and thirty (30) minutes. The work day shall start no earlier than 7:00 a.m. and end no later than 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Any increase in the school/work day or school/work year mandated by state law shall be compensated on the basis of each bargaining unit member’s daily rate of pay. Daily rate of pay is derived by dividing the unit member’s salary for the 186-day work year by 186.
