TASK ORDER CONTRACTING OFFICER’S Clause Samples
The "Task Order Contracting Officer’s" clause defines the authority and responsibilities of the contracting officer specifically assigned to manage and oversee individual task orders under a broader contract. This clause typically clarifies that the designated officer has the power to issue, modify, and administer task orders, as well as resolve issues or disputes related to those orders. By clearly delineating the contracting officer’s role for task orders, the clause ensures efficient contract administration and prevents confusion over decision-making authority, thereby streamlining project execution and communication.
