Common use of Taiwan Clause in Contracts

Taiwan. Data Privacy. The Participant acknowledges that he or she has read and understands the terms regarding collection, processing and transfer of Data contained in the Data Privacy Information and Consent provision of the Terms and Conditions for Participants outside the U.S. and agrees that, upon request of the Company or the Employer, the Participant will provide any executed data privacy consent form to the Employer or the Company (or any other agreements or consents that may be required by the Employer or the Company) that the Company and/or the Employer may deem necessary to obtain under the data privacy laws in Participant’s country, either now or in the future. The Participant understands he or she will not be able to participate in the Plan if the Participant fails to execute any such consent or agreement.

In this regard, upon request of the Company or the Employer, the Participant will agrees to provide any an executed data privacy consent form to the Employer or the Company (or any other agreements or consents that may be required by the Employer or the Company) that the Company and/or the Employer may deem necessary to obtain under the data privacy laws in Participant’s country, either now or in the future. The Participant understands he or she will not be able to participate in the Plan if the Participant fails to execute any such consent or agreement.
