Suspension of Work for Owner’s Convenience. Upon seven (7) days written notice to Contractor, Owner may at any time without breach of the Contract suspend all or any portion of the Work for a period of up to sixty (60) days for its own convenience. Owner will give Contractor a written notice of suspension for convenience, which sets forth the number of suspension days for which the Work, or any portion of it, and the date on which the suspension of Work will cease. When such a suspension prevents Contractor from completing the Work within the Contract Time, it is an excusable delay. A notice of suspension for convenience may be modified by Owner at any time on seven (7) days written notice to Contractor. If Owner suspends the Work for its convenience for more than sixty (60) consecutive days, Contractor may elect to terminate the Contract pursuant to the provisions of the Contract.

Upon resumption of the Work, if the suspension prevents the Contractor from completing the Work within the Contract Time, it is an Excusable Delay. A notice of suspension for convenience may be modified by the Owner at any time on seven (7) calendar Days written notice to the Contractor. If the Owner suspends the Work for its convenience for more than 60 consecutive calendar Days, the Contractor may elect to terminate the Contract pursuant to the provisions of the contract.

  • Suspension for Convenience The School District shall have the right, at any time during the term of this Contract, to suspend all or any part of the Services, for the convenience of the School District, for the period of time that the School District, in its sole discretion, determines to be in the best interest of the School District, upon thirty (30) days’ prior written notice to the Architectural Designer (except that in the event of a public emergency, as determined by the School District, no such period of notice shall be required.).

  • Suspension of Work The Department may, at its sole discretion, suspend any or all activities under the Contract, at any time, when it is in the best interest of the State of Florida to do so. The Customer may suspend a resulting contract or purchase order, at any time, when in the best interest of the Customer to do so.   • For Convenience By written notice, this Contract may be terminated at any time by the State for convenience upon sixty (60) days written notice or other specified period without penalty or other early termination charges due. Such termination of the Contract shall not affect any project or Purchase Order that has been issued under the Contract prior to the date of such termination.   • CORRECTION OF WORK 13.2.1 The Contractor shall be responsible for correcting all Work which the Architect has found to be defective or which fails to conform to the Contract Documents whether observed be- fore or after Substantial Completion and whether or not fabricated, installed or completed. The Contractor shall bear all costs of correcting such rejected Work, including compensation for the Architect's and the State’s additional services made necessary thereby. The Architect, upon a finding of defect or failure to conform, shall immediately notify the State and Contractor, in writing, of the defect. The Contractor shall begin correcting the defective or non-conforming Work within ten (10) days unless the State agrees to a Change Order which reflects the reduction in Contract Sum due to the value of diminishment of the defective or nonconforming Work.
