Supporting partner leave. An employee whose partner has given or is giving birth to a child, or an employee whose partner is the primary caregiver for an adopted or fostered child, is entitled to two weeks' supporting partner leave. This leave:

Supporting partner leave. An 1. Where an employee whose or the employee's partner has given gives birth to, or is giving birth to adopts, a child, or an employee whose partner and the employee:
a. is not the primary caregiver for an adopted or fostered care giver of that child, and
b. lives with the child, the employee is entitled to two weeks' supporting partner 4 weeks paid leave. This leave:, to be taken within 12 months of the birth or placement of the child.
