Common use of Supported Environment and Operations Clause in Contracts

Supported Environment and Operations. Customer is responsible for undertaking the proper supervision, control and management of Customer's use of the Software including, but not limited to: (i) providing, maintaining and assuring proper configuration of the Supported Environment; (ii) following industry standard procedures for the security of data, accuracy of input and output, and back-up plans, including restart and recovery in the event of hardware or software error or malfunction; and (iii) maintaining a procedure external to the Software for reconstruction of lost or altered files, data and programs.
