SUPPLIER’S STATUS. At all times during the Contract Period the Supplier shall be an independent contractor and nothing in this Contract shall create a contract of employment, a relationship of agency or partnership or a joint venture between the Parties and, accordingly, neither Party shall be authorised to act in the name of, or on behalf of, or otherwise bind the other Party save as expressly permitted by the terms of this Contract.

SUPPLIER’S STATUS. 21.1 Nothing in the Contract shall be construed as constituting a partnership between the Parties or as constituting either Party as the agent for the other for any purposes except as specified by the terms of the Contract.

Supplier shall also pay any expenses normally paid by an employer in connection with its employees assigned to NuCon. The Supplier is and shall be deemed to be an Independent Contractor at all times during its performance of the work specified in the order.
SUPPLIER’S STATUS. The Contract is for the supply of goods and the provision of services and binds the Supplier, as an independent contractor, solely for the purposes of supplying goods and providing services. Neither the Supplier nor any member of the Supplier’s personnel is bound by the Contract as an employee, a public servant, or an agent of the Owner. The Supplier is solely responsible for all payments or deductions required to be made, including for the following: Quebec pension plan, employment insurance, workers’ compensation system and income tax.
