Common use of Supervening Illegality Clause in Contracts

Supervening Illegality. If any of the provisions of this Contract become invalid through supervening illegality, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of the Contract.

Supervening Illegality. 35.1 If any of the provisions of this Contract contract become invalid through supervening illegality, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of the Contractcontract. 35.2 In the event of such an occurrence the parties shall, in so far as it is legally permitted, agree on the replacement of the invalid provision(s) with a valid one achieving the same or similar purpose.
