Common use of Sundays Clause in Contracts

Sundays. All casual employees required to commence work on a Sunday, will be paid at the rate of double time for all hours worked, with a minimum payment of four hours. Where a casual employee commences work on a Saturday and continues to work without a break on a Sunday, the minimum four hour call for work performed on a Sunday as prescribed in clause 24(a) will not apply. The maximum penalty paid for working on a Sunday will be double time.
