Sundays and Public Holidays. 16.14.10(a) Shift workers on continuous shifts for work on a rostered shift the major portion of which is performed on a Sunday or public holiday will be paid as follows: • Sundays at the rate of double time; • Public holidays as prescribed by clauses 27.11 to 27.19 - Public holidays at the rate of double time.

Where shifts fall partly on a Sunday or a holiday, that shift the portion of which falls on a Sunday or a holiday shall be regarded as the Sunday or holiday shift.

An employee working on a Sunday or public holiday shall be allowed a crib time of twenty minutes without deduction of pay after each four and a half hours of work, if the employee continues work after such crib time. Your working hours shall be calculated from the time of call at the hotel or accommodation until you are returned to the same. Payment for travel • If you are required to travel to a location over 20 miles from Charing Cross or regional station, the Advertiser/Producer must pay you reasonable travel expenses. If public transport is not available, the Advertiser/Producer must provide or pay for transport. • If it is impractical or unsafe for you to return home, you will be provided with reasonable accommodation. • If you are taken ill in the UK or abroad, the Advertiser/ Producer will be responsible for transporting you home.
