Sunday to midnight Saturday. The alternate work week for the Wastewater Operations Section shall be maintained during this Agreement. The beginning and ending of the work week may be changed, provided that the change is intended to be permanent and is not designed to evade overtime compensation in accordance with state and federal laws. Once the beginning and ending time of an employee's work week is established, however, it remains fixed regardless of how many hours are worked within the week. Full-time employees work forty (40) hours per week.

Section All hourly paid employees will be allowed a fifteen minute coffee break in the first half shift and in the second half shift without loss of pay and an additional coffee break shall be allowed to all employees who are requested to work overtime at the end of their regular shift before the commencement of overtime.
Sunday to midnight Saturday. In the event it is necessary to change the hours of work, starting and quitting time of any shift, and schedule of hours, the DHS shall first meet with the Union to discuss said changes. This paragraph shall not be construed as a guarantee or limitation of work hours, nor shall it be construed to reduce the normal workweek below forty (40) hours per week for regular full-time employees.

Those employees who work on a Friday which is observed as a holiday in lieu of a holiday falling on Saturday shall be allowed a day off in lieu thereof as scheduled by the appointing officer in the current fiscal year.
