Common use of Successor Custodian Clause in Contracts

Successor Custodian. If the Custodian changes its name, reorganizes, or merges with another organization (or comes under the control of any federal or state agency), or if its entire organization (or any portion which includes this IRA) is bought by another organization, that organization (or agency) shall automatically become the trustee or custodian of this IRA, but only if it is the type of organization authorized to serve as an IRA trustee or custodian.

If the Custodian our organization changes its name, reorganizes, or merges with another organization (or comes under the control of any federal or state agency), or if its our entire organization (or any portion which that includes this your IRA) is bought by another organization, that organization (or agency) shall will automatically become the trustee or custodian of this your IRA, but only if it is the type of organization authorized to serve as an IRA trustee or custodian.
