Common use of Successor Agreement Clause in Contracts

Successor Agreement. In the event CNA desires to negotiate a successor Agreement, CNA shall, no more than four (4) months and no less than three (3) months prior to the expiration date referenced in Section 101, serve on the County its written request to commence negotiations as well as its initial written proposals for such successor Agreement. Upon receipt of such written notice and proposals, the County shall, within thirty (30) days, present counter-proposals. Negotiations shall begin within thirty (30) days after receipt of CNA's proposals unless otherwise agreed to by the parties. Sections of this Agreement not addressed by either party in their proposals shall remain in full force and effect when a successor Agreement is implemented.

Negotiations shall begin within thirty (30) days after receipt of CNA's proposals unless otherwise agreed to by the parties. Sections of this Agreement not addressed by either party in their proposals shall remain in full force and effect when a successor Agreement is implemented.
