Common use of Substantial Completion Inspection Clause in Contracts

Substantial Completion Inspection. An inspection conducted to determine that a project, or a portion thereof, is substantially complete as defined herein, and usable for its intended purposes. The Substantial Completion Inspection results in a list of items to be completed to achieve Final Completion. Architect will prepare, sign and issue the Certificate of Substantial Completion, as more fully described in Owner’s General And Supplementary Conditions of the GC Agreement.
