Subsidiaries/Parent Sample Clauses

The "SUBSIDIARIES; PARENT" clause defines how the rights and obligations under the agreement extend to the parent company and its subsidiaries. Typically, this clause clarifies whether actions, liabilities, or benefits attributed to the main contracting party also apply to its parent or subsidiary entities, and may specify the conditions under which these related companies are included or excluded from the agreement’s scope. Its core function is to ensure clarity regarding which corporate entities are bound by or benefit from the contract, thereby preventing disputes over the involvement of affiliated companies.
