Subcontract Limits Clause Samples
The Subcontract Limits clause sets boundaries on the extent to which a party may delegate or subcontract its contractual obligations to third parties. Typically, this clause specifies which tasks can be subcontracted, may require prior written consent from the other party, or set monetary or percentage thresholds for subcontracted work. Its core function is to maintain control over the quality and accountability of work performed under the contract, ensuring that key responsibilities are not passed on without oversight and that the original contracting party remains ultimately responsible.
