Subcomponent 2. 2: Fish market development and value addition. This subcomponent aims to finance several investments: (i) investments in infrastructure and technologies for reducing postharvest losses; (ii) market linkages for increasing value/income from aquaculture and seaweed production; (iii) and rehabilitation of two multipurpose modern fish markets in Pangani and Bagamoyo fish landing areas. In addition, the Programme will finance ice-making plants, cold-supply chain facilities, solar dryers/tents and drying racks for small-pelagic “dagaa” and seaweed.
Subcomponent 2. 2 – Innovation and Outreach Facility (IOF). The outcome for this subcomponent is to enhance the capacity of FSPs to deliver demand-driven services in rural areas. The objectives are two: i) increase access to new and innovative financial services and low-cost delivery mechanisms for poor rural households and micro, small and medium, sized enterprises; and ii) to support the scaling up of proven financial services and delivery mechanisms.
Subcomponent 2. 2: business plans financing: This subcomponent aims at supporting agribusiness entities in the Programme area in funding viable and sustainable business proposals that respond to emerging market opportunities and have a demonstrated impact on poverty reduction, including production-base infrastructures for beneficiaries in Ningxia.
Subcomponent 2. 3: rural finance: This subcomponent aims at enhancing the opportunities of target beneficiaries (individuals and cooperatives) to access financial resources by supporting/partnering with financial institutions in the Programme area to expand their range of financial products and improve their risk management capacity so to better respond to the demands of the Programme’s beneficiaries.

  • Bilingual Differential When formally assigned in the employee’s position description, an employee assigned to interpret to or from another language to English will receive a differential of five percent (5%) of base pay.

  • Unbundled Sub-Loop Distribution Voice Grade (USLD-VG) is a copper sub- loop facility from the cross-box in the field up to and including the point of demarcation at the End User’s premises and may have load coils.

  • Start-Up Costs The Government of Ontario will provide:

  • Commercial Price List Reductions Where NYS Net Prices are based on a discount from Contractor’s list prices, price decreases shall take effect automatically during the Contract term and apply to Purchase Orders submitted on or after the date Contractor lowers its pricing to its customers generally or to similarly situated government customers during the Contract term; or

  • Equipment Failures In the event of equipment failures beyond the Administrator's control, the Administrator shall take reasonable and prompt steps to minimize service interruptions but shall have no liability with respect thereto. The Administrator shall develop and maintain a plan for recovery from equipment failures which may include contractual arrangements with appropriate parties making reasonable provision for emergency use of electronic data processing equipment to the extent appropriate equipment is available.
