SUB-CONTRACTOR CLAUSE. 15.01 If the employer sub-contracts work which, if not sub-contracted, would be performed by the employer under the provisions of this Agreement, the sub-contractor shall be a unionized electrical contractor and shall be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement for all such work performed on the jobsite. All material will bear a Union label where practical.
SUB-CONTRACTOR CLAUSE. 6.01 Except as provided for hereafter, the Employers agree to contract/ subcontract and/or sublet all work covered by this Appendix to companies which are bound to the terms and provisions of this Collective Agreement and such work will be performed under the terms and provisions of this Collective Agreement by such contractors.
SUB-CONTRACTOR CLAUSE. Employers signatory to this Agreement shall have the right to sublet, transfer or assign their work within the work jurisdiction of the Union to any person, firm or corporation provided that such sub-contract, transfer or assignment is made conditional upon any person, firm or corporation so delegated to comply with the operating terms of the Agreement in force and effect.
SUB-CONTRACTOR CLAUSE. Holy Cross Hospital may employ specialists from outside the regular hospital organization to do work that is not similar in nature or regularly performed by the bargaining unit employees.
SUB-CONTRACTOR CLAUSE. Section 1. The Employer agrees to recognize the territorial and occupational jurisdiction of the Union to the extent that it shall not use on the job-site for the performance of any work within that jurisdiction, which has been historically and continuously performed by employees within the unit covered by this Agreement, any Employer, company or concern that does not observe the wages, fringe benefits, hours and economic conditions of employment as enjoyed by the employees covered by this Agreement.
SUB-CONTRACTOR CLAUSE. Contractors and Subcontractors When the Employer signatory to this Agreement subcontracts any of his work covered by this Agreement that the Employer normally, customarily, and traditionally performs, it shall be subcontracted subject to all terms and conditions of this agreement, and the employees of such Subcontractor or Subcontractors shall be required to become members of the Union as a condition of employment, as provided under Article 7 of the Agreement, except by mutual agreement of the parties. At the request of the Union, the Employer agrees to arrange a Pre-Job Conference between the Subcontractor or Subcontractors covering all work that the Employer has subcontracted. Subcontractors performing work covered by this Agreement agree to all terms and conditions of this Agreement and shall be required to execute the necessary documents to implement the operation of all fringe benefit programs.
SUB-CONTRACTOR CLAUSE. Any sub-contractor employed by the Contractor to perform work covered by this Agreement shall be urged to perform their work in conformance with all terms and conditions of this Agreement.
SUB-CONTRACTOR CLAUSE. The Employer agrees that he will not subcontract any work which is covered by this Agreement that is to be done at the site of any job to which this Agreement is applicable, except to a contractor bound by the terms of this Agreement, or to another Agreement with the Council.
SUB-CONTRACTOR CLAUSE. (A) If the Employer contracts or sub-contracts any work covered by this Agreement to be done at the job site of the construction, alteration or repair of a building, structure or other work to any company, person or entity who is not signatory to this Agreement, the Employer shall require such company, person or entity to be bound to all of the provisions of this Agreement.
SUB-CONTRACTOR CLAUSE. 8.01 The Employer shall engage as subcontractors only those who are in contractual relationship with the Union. For subdivision work the subcontractor clause will apply only to sewer and watermain work as covered by this Collective Agreement and road building work which includes all work covered by the Collective Agreement between the Metropolitan Toronto Road Builders Association and the Council of Trade Unions. It is agreed that all utility work and heavy construction work shall be contracted or subcontracted to contractors in contractual relations with the Union for subdivision work.
