Student Policies. Students placed in one of the programs identified in this Agreement are subject to all policies and procedures related to student rights and responsibilities applicable to students in the attendance center where the program is located.

Student Policies. All school and district policies, in addition to EHS MER rules, apply while on this band trip. Additionally, students and chaperones, may NOT consume alcohol of any type while on this trip, regardless of the drinking age in England Consequences: A student that breaks any of the rules or acts inappropriately may be sent home immediately at the parent’s expense. In addition, any rule or policy violations prior to the trip will subject a student from possible exclusion from the trip. The EHS Instrumental Music Program is not responsible if a participant cannot complete the trip due to rule or policy violations and the cancellation policy in Section 3 under Payments will apply. Chaperones: Costs for chaperones will be the same as other participants. Student Illness: A student may also be sent home at the parent’s expense should the child become ill and not be able to be around other students per district policies. All attempts to care for the student will be made prior to making arrangements for a return trip home.
Student Policies. Students must abide by the California Baptist University Student policy regarding alcoholic consumption and understand that consumption of alcohol is not permitted, and may warrant dismissal from the trip/course, at the discretion of the faculty, and at the expense of the student. Treatment for and any cost associated with any illness or personal injury incurred during travel shall be covered by me or my own medical or personal liability insurance. CBU will not be held responsible for: Loss, theft, or damage of personal property at any time. Personal injury or illness incurred during the trip including but not limited to injury or illness incurred as a result of riding in any public conveyance (e.g. aircraft, bus, taxi) or as a result of natural disasters, war, or negligence not directly attributable to CBU or its employees. Any official personal documents that are not in order. Consequences of my own negligence, carelessness, or failure to follow CBU policy or instructions, including, without limitation, my carrying or transporting contraband across any border. I understand that all arrangements for travel, accommodations and other necessary services are made by CBU with the goal of serving the best interests of the participants and that CBU shall not be held liable for claims arising from such arrangements and services. I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold completely harmless CBU, its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, and agents from any and all loss in the event of accident, personal injury, theft, arrest, or fire not directly attributable to the instructions of CBU or not directly the result of negligence on the part of its employees or agents. As indicated by my initials below, for any complaint or unresolved dispute arising under this Agreement I knowingly and expressly waive my right to a jury trial and agree that any complaint or unresolved dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration pursuant to the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Furniture cannot be removed from residence rooms, common areas or buildings. Furniture from other areas of the University cannot be relocated to a student’s room. ANIMALS/PETS: Pets are not permitted in any of the residence buildings. Students with registered service animals should contact Housing & Conference Services to make appropriate arrangements. CLEANLINESS: Students are responsible to maintain a standard of cleanliness that creates a hospitable environment and always adhere to Health and Safety regulations. They are accountable to always keep their room/suite in a clean and orderly condition. Residence rooms/suites are inspected at least once per term. Residents share the responsibility for cleanliness in the common rooms, kitchens, washrooms, and other shared space within the room/suite and building. Failure to comply with cleaning standards may result in sanctions and additional cleaning fees. KITCHENS: Kitchen appliances are not permitted in residence rooms. Students are only allowed to keep a small compact refrigerator in their spaces. Kitchen appliances, provided in suites and common areas, must be used in a safe, responsible manner. SMOKING: York University Residence is a smoke-free environment. Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited inside or within nine meters of the buildings. This includes balconies, building entrances, windows, and ventilation system air intakes. Policy on cannabis smoking, possession and cultivation are available in the Residence Community Standards.

  • Payment Policy 11.9.1 A full-time tenure-track teacher, who is a member of the bargaining unit on an annual salary basis and who has served a complete school year as teacher, shall be paid in twelve (12) equal monthly installments.
