Common use of STRIKES OR LOCK-OUTS Clause in Contracts

STRIKES OR LOCK-OUTS. The Union agrees that it will not cause, direct, or consent to any strike or other collective action on the part of the employees represented by the Union during the term of this Agreement and that if such action should be taken by the employees, the Union will instruct the said employees to return to work and perform their usual duties, and to resort to the grievance procedure established herein for the settlement of any complaint or grievance. The Board and its officers agree they will not engage in any lockout.
