Common use of Step IV Clause in Contracts

Step IV. If the grievance remains unresolved following receipt of the Board's decision, the Association may within ten (10) work days refer the matter for arbitration to the American Arbitration Association, in writing, and request the appointment of an arbitrator to hear the grievance, who shall be selected in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and conclusive, and binding upon the Association, its members, the employee or employees involved, and the Board.
