Statutory Parenthood Leaves. Statutory Adoption, Pregnancy and Parental Leave will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Standards Act, 2000 as amended, which sections are attached to the Agreement. While on statutory leave, a permanent Employee shall continue to accumulate seniority. Normal salary shall not be paid during the leave. However, for Statutory Pregnancy and Parental Leaves, the Board shall compensate the Employee as outlined below. In the case of Pregnancy Leave only, paragraphs (a) through (k) apply;
