Common use of Statutory Holiday Clause in Contracts

Statutory Holiday. An employee shall receive two (2) times his regular straight time hourly rate for the first eight (8)hours worked on a Statutory Holiday, and three (3) times the regular straight time hourly rate for authorized work performed in excess of eight (8)hours. In addition he will receive holiday pay (if eligible) as outlined under Plant Holidays.
