Statutes and Regulations. This lease is subject to all applicable state and federal statutes and regulations in effect on the effective date of this lease, and insofar as is constitutionally permissible, to all statutes and regulations placed in effect after the effective date of this lease. A reference to a statute or regulation in this lease includes any change in that statute or regulation whether by amendment, repeal and replacement, or other means. This lease does not limit the power of the State of Alaska or the United States of America to enact and enforce legislation or to promulgate and enforce regulations affecting, directly or indirectly, the activities of the lessee or its agents in connection with this lease or the value of the interest held under this lease. In case of conflicting provisions, statutes and regulations take precedence over this lease.

Statutes and Regulations. Any reference in this Agreement to all or any part of any statute or regulation shall, unless otherwise expressly stated, be a reference to that statute or regulation or the relevant part thereof, as amended, substituted, replaced, or re-enacted from time to time.

Statutes and Regulations references to a statute include references to regulations, orders, rules or notices made under that statute and references to a statute or regulation include references to all amendments to that statute or regulation, whether by subsequent statute or otherwise.

Statutes and Regulations references to any statutory provision will include any statutory provision which amends or replaces it, and any subordinate legislation made under it.

Statutes and Regulations. Any reference in this Agreement to any statute, regulation, ruling, or administrative order or decree shall include, and be a reference to any successor statute, regulation, ruling, or administrative order or decree.

Statutes and Regulations. 43.1 The Contract shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. 43.2 The Contractor shall, in all matters arising in the performance of the Contract, conform, in all respects, with the provisions of all Central, Provincial and Local Laws, Statutes, Regulations and By-Laws in force in Pakistan, and shall give all notices and pay all fees required to be given or paid and shall keep the Purchaser indemnified against all penalties and liability of any kind for breach of any of the same. 43.3 The Courts at Lahore shall have the exclusive territorial jurisdiction in respect of any dispute or difference of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Contract.

Statutes and Regulations. A reference to any enactment, regulation or expression of Government policy is a reference to that enactment, regulation or policy as amended, or to any enactment, regulation or policy substituted for it, and any reference to an enactment includes all regulations made under that enactment.

Statutes and Regulations. This lease is issued pursuant to subsection 8(p) of the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act (“the Act”), 43 U.S.C. §§ 1331 et seq. This lease is subject to the Act and regulations promulgated pursuant to the Act, including but not limited to, offshore renewable energy and alternate use regulations at 30 CFR Part 585 as well as other applicable statutes and regulations in existence on the Effective Date of this lease. This lease is also subject to those statutes enacted (including amendments to the Act or other statutes) and regulations promulgated thereafter, except to the extent that they explicitly conflict with an express provision of this lease. It is expressly understood that amendments to existing statutes, including but not limited to the Act, and regulations may be made, and/or new statutes may be enacted or new regulations promulgated, which do not explicitly conflict with an express provision of this lease, and that the Lessee bears the risk that such amendments, regulations, and statutes may increase or decrease the Lessee’s obligations under the lease.

The lease is issued sub- ject to the Act; Sections 302 and 303 of the Department of Energy Organization Act, 91 Stat. 578, 42 U.S.C. 7152 and 7153; all regulations issued pursuant to such statutes and in existence upon the effective date of this lease; all regulations issued pursuant to such statutes in the future which provide for the prevention of waste and the conserva- tion of the natural resources of the Outer Continental Shelf, and the protection of correlative rights therein; and all other applicable statutes and regulations.
