Common use of Starting Work Clause in Contracts

Starting Work. An employee who starts work (or has cleared the marshaling point) and is prevented from completing their normal work day will receive the greater of four (4) hours pay at their prevailing hourly rate, or the number of hours worked multiplied by the prevailing hourly rate. The employee will also receive their full accommodation allowance if and when applicable.
