Common use of Starting Salary Clause in Contracts

Starting Salary. Sessional appointments are subject to cancellation due to enrolment and other operational reasons. In the event that a sessional appointment is cancelled less than one week prior to the scheduled first day of class, the instructor will receive a payment of one week’s salary for fall/winter courses (pro-rated accordingly for summer) in order to compensate for preparation time.
