On the last day of school for the school year, teachers will be permitted to leave when the last bus leaves providing the teacher has completed checkout with his/her building administrator.

When teachers and students have an early closing, for example, prior to Thanksgiving and Winter Break, all support staff will be permitted to leave two hours earlier than their normal workdays. All lunch breaks must be taken prior to 1:00 p.m. Support staff may not take lunch immediately before their dismissal times in order to leave more than two hours early. This means, if the employee’s lunch is usually scheduled from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. and his/her workday regularly ends at 3:30 p.m., he/she may not leave for lunch at 12:30 p.m. and not return. The earliest support staff employees may leave is two hours prior to the end of their normal workdays. In this situation, the employee will take lunch from 11:30 a.m.-12:30
