STANDBY ARRANGEMENTS. a) An employee scheduled on standby, whether or not they carry a pocket pager, will be paid for two (2) hours at straight time for the 24 hour period commencing daily at 08:00 Monday to Thursday inclusive, 3 hours at straight time for the 24 hour period commencing at 08:00 Friday, and 4 hours at straight time for the 24 hour period commencing at 08:00 on a Saturday, Sunday or Statutory Holiday.
