SS7 Signaling Sample Clauses

SS7 Signaling. Except as otherwise provided herein, if SS7 signaling is provided by Telco, it will be provided in accordance with Appendix – SS7 (Wireless). Appendix – SS7 (Wireless) describes various SS7 elements available for Carrier to purchase from Telco, including elements required to exchange ISUP SS7 Signaling Messages(s) (as defined in Telcordia Document GR-246-CORE) associated with Local Calls.

SS7 Signaling. In order to track and monitor the traffic that is being exchanged at the POI both Parties agree to utilize SS7 Common Channel Signaling between their respective networks for the traffic addressed in this Agreement. Both Parties will provide CCS connectivity in accordance with accepted industry practice and standard technical specifications. To the extent supported by a Party, for all traffic delivered to the POI, the Parties agree to exchange all appropriate unaltered CCS messages for call set-up, including without limitation ISDN User Part ("ISUP") and Transaction Capability User Part (“TCAP") messages to facilitate interoperability of CCS based features and functions between their respective networks, including CLASS features and functions. All CCS signaling parameters, including, but not limited to, the Jurisdictional Indicator Parameter (“JIP”) and the originating End User telephone number, will be provided by each Party in conjunction with all traffic it delivers to the POI.
SS7 Signaling. Both Parties will utilize LEC-to-LEC SS7 Signaling, where available, in conjunction with all traffic in order to enable interoperability of CLASS features and functions except for call return. SS7 signaling parameters will be provided, including but not limited to ANI, originating line information (OLI) calling company category and charge number. Privacy indicators will be honored, and the Parties will exchange Transactional Capabilities Application Part (TCAP) messages to facilitate SS7 based features between the respective networks. Neither Party shall alter the SS7 parameters, or be a party to altering such parameters, or knowingly pass SS7 parameters that have been altered in order to circumvent appropriate interconnection charges. Nothing herein shall obligate or otherwise require BellSouth to send SS7 messages or call-related database queries to ComSouth’s or any other third party’s call-related database, unless otherwise agreed to by the Parties under a separate agreement.
SS7 Signaling. Where available, the Parties will use Common Channel Interoffice Signaling (CCIS) to set up calls between the PartiesTelephone Exchange Service networks. Each Party shall provide Calling Party Number (CPN) within the SS7 signaling message, if available. If CCIS in unavailable, Multi-Frequency (MF) signaling shall be used by the Parties. Each Party shall charge the other Party rates for CCIS signaling at the rates set forth in their respective tariffs.
SS7 Signaling. Both Parties will utilize LEC-to-LEC SS7 Signaling, where available, in conjunction with all traffic in order to enable full interoperability of CLASS features and functions except for call return. All SS7 signaling parameters will be provided, including but not limited to automatic number identification (ANI), originating line information (OLI) calling company category and charge number. All privacy indicators will be honored, and the Parties will exchange Transactional Capabilities Application Part (TCAP) messages to facilitate full interoperability of SS7-based features between the respective networks. Neither Party shall alter the SS7 parameters, or be a party to altering such parameters, or knowingly pass SS7 parameters that have been altered in order to circumvent appropriate interconnection charges.
SS7 Signaling. Except as otherwise provided herein, if SS7 signaling is provided by Ameritech, it will be provided in accordance with Appendix – SS7 (Wireless). Appendix – SS7 (Wireless) describes various SS7 elements available for Carrier to purchase from Ameritech, including elements required to exchange ISUP SS7 Signaling Messages(s) (as defined in Ameritechrdia Document GR-246-CORE) associated with Local Calls.

Related to SS7 Signaling

  • Signaling protocol The Parties will interconnect their networks using SS7 signaling where Technically Feasible and available as defined in GR 905 Telcordia Standards including ISDN User Part (ISUP) for trunk signaling and TCAP for CCS-based features in the Interconnection of their networks. All Network Operations Forum (NOF) adopted standards shall be adhered to. Where available, CenturyLink signaling services to link its Signaling Transfer Points (STPs) for CLEC switches which connect to CenturyLink’s STPs via “A” links or for CLEC’s STPs to connect to CenturyLink’s STPs via “D” links which are dedicated to the transport of signaling for local Interconnection, may be ordered from the CenturyLink Tariff.
