Specific provisions and processes. (a) Where there is a proposal to implement multi-skilling arrangements for Teacher Aides at their school there must be consultation with the Teacher Aides concerned with a view to reaching agreement on the implementation of such arrangements.
(b) Teacher Aides cannot be required to rotate duties (to different and distinct work areas) on an ongoing basis without genuine reasons. Teacher Aides should return to their substantive work area on completion of their skills development, subject to operational requirements.
(c) Where the decision made by the Principal or delegate is in dispute, the matter may be referred to the dispute settlement procedures contained within this Agreement.
Specific provisions and processes. A number of issues have been identified by the parties as requiring specific provisions including:
a) Consultation and agreement on multi-skilling;
b) Access to more hours (maximisation);
c) Where there is a proposal to implement multi-skilling arrangements for teacher aides at their school there must be consultation with the teacher aides concerned with a view to reaching agreement on the implementation of such arrangements;
d) Teacher aides cannot be required to rotate duties (to different and distinct work areas) on an ongoing basis without genuine reasons. Teacher aides should return to their substantive work area on completion of their skills development, subject to operational requirements; and
