SPECIAL LEAVE DAYS. In acknowledgement of the unique operational requirements and the existing practice in the Child Care Centres all appointed employees will be granted 5 special leave days with pay per year, prorated where appropriate.

SPECIAL LEAVE DAYS. In addition to designated holidays and vacations, counsellors shall be entitled to an additional six days off per calendar year without loss of regular earnings. Such days must be arranged in advance with the employee's supervisor and shall be subject to the requirements of appropriate client service. These days shall not be cumulative from year to year.
SPECIAL LEAVE DAYS. Regular Part-Time Employees are entitled to Special Leave Days in accordance with the provisions of Clause 11.1(d) on a prorated basis, calculated on the same proportionate basis as the Regular Part-Time Employee’s weekly schedule of core hours bears to the full-time hours for that class of positions.
SPECIAL LEAVE DAYS. In addition to whatever leave that Xxxxxxxxxxx otherwise may be entitled to, Xxxxxxxxxxx shall have three (3) paid leave days that may be taken at any time prior to December 31, 2016. The leave days may be utilized in Xxxxxxxxxxx’x discretion provided scheduling does not adversely affect the performance of Xxxxxxxxxxx’x duties and responsibilities.

SPECIAL LEAVE DAYS. Custodial employees may take two days of special leave per year at no cost to the employee. Employees hired after the beginning of the school year will earn a prorated amount of special leave. The days will be agreed upon between the employee and the supervisor. Custodial employees who have been employed with LPS in any capacity (except as a substitute or an hourly employee working sporadically) for eight (8) years of consecutive service may take four days of special leave at no cost to the employee. Custodial employees hired prior to October 1 during the first year of service will have that year count as a year of service for the special leave days. The special leave days may be taken in the school year, and in each successive year, following the completion of eight (8) years of employment. The days will be agreed upon between the employee and the supervisor. If a special leave day is unused, it will carry over to become part of the employee’s accumulated special leave the following year. Employees may accumulate 10 days of special leave before accrual stops.
