Special Effects. All special effects equipment, stages, and special equipment used by the user must be submitted in writing and be pre-approved before setting up or use. District may terminate this agreement immediately and require user to vacate the premises immediately if unauthorized items are present. No refunds will be made for lost time during use and deposit will not be returned.

Special Effects. Special Effects are not permitted except with the express written permission of the state agency. • All filming activity that requires the use of flammable materials, explosive devices or open flames are considered pyrotechnics. Use of pyrotechnics must be approved by the State Fire Marshal. The State Fire Marshal may assign local fire department staff to be on location to monitor pyrotechnic activity. Cost of such monitor is the responsibility of the Production. • Stunts or similar actions that may cause damage to the property shall be adequately planned to prevent damage and shall be approved by the State Agency prior to filming. • Company shall verify with their insurance company to determine if additional or special coverage is required when special effects are involved.

Special Effects. Laser and/or strobe lighting effects, flame effects, pyrotechnics and noise levels will be maintained and operated by licensed personnel in such manner as to avoid injury to the Actor and Stage Manager. Applicable federal, state, and local laws and/or standards (e.g., the current NFPA 160 and 1126 standards) will govern all such use.
Special Effects. Audio-visual and other sound and attentiongetting devices and effects will be permitted only in those locations and in such intensity as, in the opinion of OTM, do not interfere with the activities of neighboring Sponsors. Operational equipment demonstrated may not create noise levels objectionable to neighboring Sponsors.
Special Effects. Payment for special effects shall be one hour at the Individual’s single time rate.

An insurance certificate must be attached to this application. The insurance certificate must additionally insure the City/County as the certificate holder with a general liability of $1,000,000. In the event that special effects are utilized, a general liability of $5,000,000 will be required as well as the name and state/ federal license of the professional conducting the special effects. Proof of Worker’s Compensation may be required by some jurisdictions.
