No Work will be started until the erosion control schedules and methods of operation have been accepted by CPRA\u2019s Project Manager. If conditions change during construction, the \u2587\u2587\u2587\u2587 Contractor may be required to submit a revised schedule for acceptance as directed by CPRA\u2019s Project Manager. Whenever the \u2587\u2587\u2587\u2587 Contractor\u2019s operations, carried out in accordance with the accepted erosion control schedule, result in a situation where appropriate temporary erosion control measures are not shown on the Design Plans the \u2587\u2587\u2587\u2587 Contractor shall conduct the Work in accordance with Section 204 of CPRA Standard Specifications. In carrying out the control measures under this Section 506-12, the \u2587\u2587\u2587\u2587 Contractor shall be guided by, but not limited to, the following controls: When borrow material is obtained from other than commercially operated sources, erosion of the borrow site must be so controlled both during and after completion of the Work that erosion will be minimized and minimal sediment will enter waterways, impoundments, or adjacent properties. Waste or spoil areas and construction roads must be located, constructed, and maintained in a manner that will minimize sediment entering waterways and impoundments. The \u2587\u2587\u2587\u2587 Contractor shall submit grading plans for all borrow pits or areas or spoil or waste areas to CPRA\u2019s Project Manager for acceptance prior to the start of Work on, or the use of, such areas. The grading plans must indicate the sequence of operations, temporary slopes, and other factors which may have an influence on erosion control; When Work areas or gravel pits are located in or adjacent to live waterways and impoundments, such areas must be separated from the rest of the waterway or impoundment by a dike or other barrier to minimize sediment entering a flowing waterway or impoundment. Care must be taken during the construction and removal of such barriers to minimize the muddying of a waterway or impoundment; and Water from aggregate washing or other operations containing sediment must be treated by filtration, settling basin, or other means sufficient to reduce the turbidity so as not to cause a substantial visible contrast to natural conditions. No payment will be made for any labor, material, or equipment needed for soil erosion abatement as described above. When it becomes necessary, CPRA\u2019s Project Manager will inform the \u2587\u2587\u2587\u2587 Contractor of unsatisfactory construction procedures and operations insofar as erosion control is concerned. If the unsatisfactory construction procedures and operations are not corrected promptly, CPRA\u2019s Project Manager may suspend the performance of any or all of other construction until the
