Common use of Social Value Clause in Contracts

Social Value. 4.16.1. The Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012 requires public authorities to have regard to economic, social and environmental wellbeing in connection with public services contracts and for connected purposes as well as allowing for national and local strategies around this area. The Supplier may be required at the Call Off Stage to identify as an optional variant the Social Value initiatives it proposes as proportionate and relevant to the Call Off Contract.
