Size determination definition

Size determination means an SBA ruling, in writing, that a concern is or is not, or was or was hot, a small busi­ ness within the meaning of this part. An opinion rendered by SBA to a con­ tracting officer on the basis of published or commonly known information and without the benefit of a formal SBA in­ quiry, is not a “size determination” as that term is used in this part.
