Single Party Sample Clauses
The 'Single Party' clause defines that only one party is subject to the rights, obligations, or restrictions outlined in the agreement or a specific section of it. In practice, this means that the clause applies exclusively to one named party, such as a supplier or a customer, rather than being mutual or reciprocal. For example, a confidentiality obligation might be imposed solely on the recipient of information, not on the disclosing party. The core function of this clause is to clearly allocate responsibilities or benefits to a specific party, thereby reducing ambiguity and ensuring that only the intended party is bound by or benefits from the provision.
