Common use of Single Arbitrator Clause in Contracts

Single Arbitrator. ‌ When a party has requested that a grievance be submitted to arbitration, the grievance shall be submitted to one of the single arbitrators listed in Appendix C on a rotational basis subject to their availability within 90 calendar days. In the event that none of the arbitrators is available within 90 calendar days, then the arbitrator who is available at the earliest date shall be appointed.
