Common use of Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Sick Leave. (1) An employee on maternity leave or parental leave shall not be entitled to sick leave during the period of leave. (2) Subject to paragraph (d)(1), an employee on maternity leave or parental leave who has notified the Department Head of their intention to return to work pursuant to paragraph (b)(5) and who subsequently suffers any illness or disability which prevents them from returning to work as scheduled, whether or not such illness or disability is related to pregnancy, shall be entitled to sick leave benefits commencing on the first day on which the employee would otherwise have returned to work.

Sick Leave. (1) An employee on maternity leave or parental leave shall not be entitled to sick leave during the period of leave. (2) Subject to paragraph (d)(1), an employee on maternity leave or parental leave who has notified the Department Head of their intention to return to work pursuant to paragraph (b)(5b)(4) and who subsequently suffers any illness or disability which prevents them from returning to work as scheduled, whether or not such illness or disability is related to pregnancy, shall be entitled to sick leave benefits commencing on the first day on which the employee would otherwise have returned to work.

Sick Leave. (1) An employee on maternity leave or parental leave shall not be entitled to use sick leave during the period of leave. (2) Subject to Notwithstanding paragraph (d)(1), an employee on maternity leave or parental leave who has notified the their Department Head of their intention to return to work pursuant to paragraph (b)(5b)(3) and who subsequently suffers any illness or disability which prevents them from returning to work as scheduled, whether or not such illness or disability is related to pregnancy, shall be entitled to sick leave benefits commencing on the first day on which the employee would otherwise have returned to work.

(2b) Subject to paragraph (d)(14)(a), an employee on maternity leave or parental leave who has notified the Department Head of their intention to return to work pursuant to paragraph (b)(52)(e) and who subsequently suffers any illness or disability which prevents them from returning to work as scheduled, whether or not such illness or disability is related to pregnancy, shall be entitled to sick leave benefits commencing on the first day on which the employee would otherwise have returned to work.

(2) Subject to paragraph (d)(1iv)(1), an employee on maternity leave or parental leave who has notified the Department Head Employer of their the intention to return to work pursuant to paragraph (b)(5ii)(5) and who subsequently suffers any illness or disability which prevents them the employee from returning to work as scheduled, whether or not such illness or disability is related to pregnancy, shall be entitled to sick leave benefits commencing on the first day on which the such employee would otherwise have returned to work.

(2ii) Subject to paragraph (d)(1d)(i), an employee on maternity leave or parental leave who has notified the their Department Head (or delegate) of their intention to return to work pursuant to paragraph (b)(5b)(iv) and who subsequently suffers any illness or disability which prevents them the employee from returning to work as scheduled, whether or not such illness or disability is related to pregnancy, shall be entitled to sick leave benefits commencing on the first day on which the employee would otherwise have returned to work.

(b) An employee while on maternity leave, adoption leave or parental leave shall not be entitled to sick leave benefits during the period of leave. (2c) Subject to paragraph Notwithstanding section (d)(1)b) above, an employee on maternity leave, adoption leave or parental leave who has notified the Department Head Board of their intention to return to work pursuant to paragraph Article 16.02 (b)(5d) and who subsequently suffers any illness or disability which prevents them from returning to work as scheduled, whether or not such illness or disability is related to pregnancy, shall be entitled to sick leave benefits commencing on the first day on which the employee would otherwise have returned to work.and

Sick Leave. (1) An employee A member on maternity leave or parental leave shall not be entitled to sick leave during the period of leave. (2) Subject to Notwithstanding paragraph (d)(1), an employee a member on maternity leave or parental leave who has notified the Department Head Board of their intention to return to work pursuant to paragraph (b)(5b)(4) and who subsequently suffers any illness or disability which prevents them from returning to work as scheduled, whether or not such illness or disability is related to pregnancy, shall be entitled to sick leave benefits commencing on the first day on which the employee member would otherwise have returned to work.

Sick Leave. (1) An employee on maternity leave or parental leave shall not be entitled to sick leave during the period of leave. (2) Subject to paragraph (d)(1), an employee on maternity leave or parental leave who has notified the Department Head Director or designate of their intention to return to work pursuant to paragraph (b)(5b)(3) and who subsequently suffers any illness or disability which prevents them from returning to work as scheduled, whether or not such illness or disability is related to pregnancy, shall be entitled to sick leave benefits commencing on the first day on which the employee would otherwise have returned to work.

Sick Leave. (1) An employee on maternity leave or parental leave shall not be entitled to sick leave during the period of leave. (2) Subject to paragraph (d)(1), an employee on maternity leave or parental leave who has notified the Department Head General Manager or designate of their intention to return to work pursuant to paragraph (b)(5b)(4) and who subsequently suffers any illness or disability which prevents them from returning to work as scheduled, whether or not such illness or disability is related to pregnancy, shall be entitled to sick leave benefits commencing on the first day on which the employee would otherwise have returned to work.

Sick Leave. (1i) An employee on maternity leave or parental leave shall not be entitled to sick leave during the period of leave. (2ii) Subject to paragraph (d)(1e)(i), an employee on maternity leave or parental leave who has notified the Human Resources Department Head of their intention to return to work pursuant to paragraph (b)(5) c)(v), and who subsequently suffers any illness or disability which prevents them the employee from returning to work as scheduled, whether or not such illness or disability is related to pregnancy, shall be entitled to sick leave benefits commencing on the first day on which the employee would otherwise have returned to work.

(2) Subject to paragraph (d)(1). Notwithstanding Article above, an employee on maternity leave or parental leave who has notified the Department Head Employer of their intention to return to work pursuant to paragraph (b)(5) Article above and who subsequently suffers any illness or disability which prevents them from returning to work as scheduled, whether or not such illness or disability is related to pregnancy, shall be entitled to sick leave benefits commencing on the first day on which the employee would otherwise have returned to work.
