Common use of Sick Leave Donation Clause in Contracts

Sick Leave Donation. Employees will be allowed to donate up to five (5) sick days each contract year to employees who have exhausted their sick leave. Only members in excess of 15 accumulated sick days will be allowed to donate days. Donated days received per employee are capped at twenty days per contract year. If a member requests and receives more than the allotted twenty days, days will be deducted from donating members on a first received, first taken system.

Sick Leave Donation. To meet the needs of an employee who has utilized all sick leave days, any employee of this bargaining group, on behalf of another employee, may request a contribution of accumulated sick leave days.
