Show Up / No Work Payment. .1 Employees who report for work and there is no work to perform will be paid a minimum of three (3) hours wages. The supervisor may choose to assign other work, which must be performed, for the three (3) hours.
Show Up / No Work Payment. Employees who report for work and there is no work to perform will be paid a minimum of two hours wages. The supervisor may choose to assign other work, which must be performed, for the two hours. Probation period is 180 days. Benefits start after 90 days except for the R.R.S.P. plan which starts at 180 days. A review of new employees will be done within two (2) days after the 30, 60, 90, and 180 days of their employment start date. New employees will start at 85% of the rate for the job classification to which they are assigned. Progression will be as follows: After 30 days – 90% of the rate. After 60 days – 95% of the rate. After 90 days – 100% of the rate. Progress of the employee beyond this point will depend almost exclusively upon the employee himself/herself, their ability, seniority and the job posting procedure.
