Common use of Show of Hands Clause in Contracts

Show of Hands. Every question submitted to a meeting shall be decided in the first place by a majority of the votes given on a show of hands except that votes on an Extraordinary Resolution shall be given in the manner hereinafter provided. The chairperson of any meeting shall be entitled, both on a show of hands and on a poll, to vote in respect of the Debentures, if any, held by him or her.
