Shop Stewards. Purpose The County recognizes the need and affirms the right of the Union to designate Shop Stewards from among employees in the Unit. It is agreed that the Union in appointing such Shop Stewards does so with the purpose of promoting an effective relationship between supervisors and employees by helping to settle problems at the lowest level of supervision.
