Common use of Shop Stewards Clause in Contracts

Shop Stewards. 18.01 The Employer shall recognize two (2) Union Shop Stewards appointed and/or elected by the Union to represent employees in the bargaining unit. The Employer further recognizes the right of the Shop Stewards to oversee the terms of the Collective Agreement being implemented and to present complaints and/or grievances to management.

Shop Stewards. 18.01 12.01 The Employer shall recognize two (2) Union Shop Stewards appointed and/or elected by the Union to represent employees in the bargaining unit. The Union shall provide the Employer, in writing, with the names of the Shop Stewards and whenever changes are made. The Employer further recognizes the right of the Shop Stewards to oversee the terms of the Collective this Agreement being implemented and to present complaints and/or grievances to management. Shop Stewards shall be employees of the bargaining unit.

The Employer further recognizes the right of the Shop Stewards to oversee the terms of the Collective Agreement being implemented and to present complaints and/or grievances to management.

Time spent dealing with grievances by the Shop Xxxxxxx and time spent overseeing the terms and conditions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement will be considered working time.

The Employer further recognizes the right of the Shop Stewards to oversee the terms of the Collective Agreement being implemented and to present complaints and/or grievances to management. The Union shall advise the Employer of the names of all Union Shop Stewards and of any changes that may occur from time to time.

The Union shall ensure the Employer has up to date information as to the names and contact information of all Shop Stewards.

The Employer further recognizes the right of the Shop Stewards to oversee the terms of the Collective Agreement being implemented and to present complaints and/or grievances to management. Time spent dealing with grievances by the Shop Xxxxxxx and time spent overseeing the terms and conditions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement must be reasonable and will not result in a loss of regular pay.
