  • Union Delegate means an Employee elected by Union members and endorsed by the Union to represent the interests of Union members.   • Delegation means the issuing of a written authorisation by a delegating authority to a delegated body to act in his stead, and in relation to a duty, includes an instruction or request to perform or to assist in performing the duty, and ‘delegate’ and ‘sub-delegate’ has a corresponding meaning;
