Shipment of Household Goods. At the commencement of your assignment to Paris, France, the Company provided to you a lump sum payment for the return shipment of your household goods. Accordingly, you will be solely responsible for the costs associated with the return shipment of household goods to your home country residence.

The Company will pay all reasonable costs of relocating your and your spouse’s household goods to Geneva using the most cost efficient mode available. · Temporary living: The Company will reimburse you for the rental cost of your current Paris apartment during the first six months of your assignment (from July 2011 through December 2011). · Housing assistance: the Company will provide reasonable assistance with securing accommodation for you and your spouse in the area of Geneva, upon your arrival.

Please understand that due to space limitations of the shipping containers and other methods used, you may not be able to move all of your personal belongings. Your allowance for shipping of personal and household goods is $42,000 and may be subject to revision based on final move estimates from Weichert Relocation. Again, a Weichert relocation counselor will walk through customary and acceptable items related to your move. Xxxxx Xxxxxxx protects the value of your shipment based on inventory. Xxxxx Xxxxxxx will not replace high-value items such as securities, cash, art, heirlooms, precious jewelry, or other items that are easily damaged or pilfered. Xxxxxx X. Xxxxxxxx Page 5 of 12 Shipment of Pets Unfortunately, Xxxxx Xxxxxxx does not encourage the shipment of pets. Host Country laws, which often include lengthy quarantine periods, make the transportation of pets into a foreign country difficult at best. Xxxxx Xxxxxxx does not reimburse costs associated with the shipment of pets. However, you may use your relocation allowance, which is designed for costs not specifically covered in this letter for this type of expense. Should you choose to ship pets to the assignment location, you are strongly encouraged to familiarize yourself with the customs, quarantine restrictions, and requirements for bringing animals into London. Again, Xxxxx Xxxxxxx will assume no responsibility regarding the shipment of your pets.
Shipment of Household Goods. The company will cover the packing, transporting, insuring, delivering and unpacking of your household goods and personal effects from Switzerland to your U.S. home location. You will receive a sea/surface shipment of 1- 20ft. container. The same terms, conditions, limitations and insurance values as applied upon expatriation will apply for these expenses.
