Common use of Shift Differential Compensation Clause in Contracts

Shift Differential Compensation. Any employee in the bargaining unit whose assigned work shift commences (for unit-1) prior to 5:30 a.m. or whose work shift ends after 5:30 p.m., or (for unit-2 members) commences after 2:00 p.m. shall be paid a shift differential premium of five (5%) percent above the regular rate of pay for all hours worked.

Shift Differential Compensation. Any employee in the bargaining unit whose assigned work shift commences (for unit-1) prior to 5:30 a.m. or whose work shift ends continues after 5:30 p.m., or (for unit-2 members) commences after 2:00 8:00 p.m. shall be paid a shift differential premium of five (5%) percent above the regular rate of pay for all those hours worked.after 8:00 p.m.

Any employee full-time unit member in the bargaining unit whose assigned work shift commences (for unit-1) prior to 5:30 between 11 a.m. or whose work shift ends after 5:30 p.m., or (for unit-2 members) commences after 2:00 and 9 p.m. inclusive shall be paid a shift differential premium of five percent (5%) percent above the regular rate of pay for all hours worked.

Shift Differential Compensation. 7.13.1 Any employee in the bargaining unit whose assigned work shift day commences (for unit-1) prior to 5:30 between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. or whose work shift ends after 5:30 p.m., or (for unit-2 members) commences after 2:00 p.m. shall be paid a shift differential premium of fifty (50) cents per hour. 7.13.2 An employee who receives a shift differential premium on the basis of his/her shift shall suffer no reduction in pay, including differential, when assigned temporarily to a day shift which shall not exceed five (5%) percent above the regular rate of pay for all hours workedconsecutive working days.

In any week a unit member works a regular schedule of pay two (2) or more shifts, which commence, between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. the unit member will receive the shift differential premium of five (5) percent for all hours workedworked that week.

Shift Differential Compensation. 6.9.1 Any employee in the bargaining unit whose member assigned to work a shift commences of three (for unit-13) prior to 5:30 hours or more before 7:00 a.m. or whose work shift ends and after 5:30 5:00 p.m., or (and not eligible for unit-2 members) commences after 2:00 p.m. any other shift differential, shall be paid entitled to a shift one percent (1%) salary differential premium for each such regularly scheduled day within the workweek, to a maximum of five percent (5%) percent above the regular rate of pay for all hours worked).
