SERVICE LETTER Sample Clauses

A Service Letter clause outlines the obligation of an employer to provide a formal letter verifying an employee’s service details upon request. Typically, this letter includes information such as the employee’s job title, dates of employment, and sometimes the reason for leaving. By specifying the employer’s duty to issue such documentation, the clause ensures that employees can obtain official proof of their work history, which is often required for future job applications or reference checks.
